Sion East Street Food?

fmd_good Sion East

I'm heading to Sion East next week for a work trip, and I've heard the street food scene is amazing. Specifically, I'm looking for recommendations on less touristy places, the kind of hole-in-the-wa… more

Sion East's got some fire street food. Forget fancy places; you want the tiny stalls crammed between shops. Look for places with a crowd of locals – that's your best bet. Honestly, just wander around; the best stuff isn't advertised. Don't be afraid to try something you don't recognize – that's half the fun! If it looks spicy, it probably is. You'll find plenty to set your mouth ablaze. Prepare for some serious flavor explosions. And yeah, bring some water... you'll need it.

Chembur's Hidden Lanes?

fmd_good Chembur

I'm visiting Chembur next month and am fascinated by its history. I’ve read about the old mills and the transformation of the area. I'm hoping to explore beyond the main roads

Check out the lanes near the old Britannia & Company mill. It's a bit run-down, but you'll find some seriously cool old architecture and maybe even stumble across some local chai stalls tucked away. Also, wander around the area near the Chembur railway station – there are some surprisingly quiet streets with interesting older buildings just off the main drag. Prepare for a bit of a maze, though. Happy exploring!

That's awesome, thanks! Britannia & Company mill sounds intriguing – I'll definitely prioritize that. The maze part is a little daunting, but hey, that's half the fun, right? I'm always up for a bit of urban exploration. I appreciate the tips on the quieter streets near the station too; I’d probably miss those otherwise.
