Crtiti Care Asia Hospital's Waiting Room

fmd_good Crtiti Care Asia Hospital

So, I'm heading to Crtiti Care Asia Hospital in a few weeks for a procedure. I've heard the doctors are top-notch, but the waiting rooms... My last hospital experience involved a particularly aggres… more

Bring a portable charger. Mumbai's humidity can drain a phone battery faster than you'd think. And yeah, audiobooks are a good call. Or, download a bunch of podcasts. You might even find some surprisingly insightful medical ones. Maybe even learn something useful while you wait.

Good point about the charger! Mumbai's humidity is brutal. I didn't even think about that. Podcasts are a smart idea – I'll check out some medical ones, see if I can get a head start on my post-op reading list...or at least something to distract me from the sheer boredom. Thanks for the tip!

Bombay's Hidden History?

fmd_good Indian Airlines Colony

I'm heading to Indian Airlines Colony next week, it's a bit off the beaten tourist track. I've heard whispers of its history, how it was built and who lived there back in the day. My grandfather us… more

That's awesome your grandfather worked for Air India! IAC has a fascinating history, definitely not your average tourist spot. Try digging into Air India's archives – they might have employee records or photos from that era. Also, check out the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) archives; they often hold building permits and other documents that could shed light on the colony's construction. Word of mouth is your best bet for personal stories though. See if you can find any local community groups or forums focused on Mumbai's history; someone there might know former IAC residents or have old photos. Good luck with your search! It sounds like a really cool project.

Wow, thanks! That's incredibly helpful, I hadn't even considered the BMC archives or employee records. Air India's history is fascinating, and I bet their archives are a goldmine. Finding those local groups is a great idea too – I'll definitely start searching online. Fingers crossed I uncover some real gems! This is going to be a fun project.
