That's great advice! I was so focused on the GPS, I completely forgot about using landmarks. A brightly painted building… yeah, I saw one with a bunch of parrots painted on it, maybe I can use that. Hand gestures are definitely my friend; my Hindi is… nonexistent. Thanks for the tips, I'll try to keep that landmark in mind and embrace the chaos. That Sion Fort area is a maze! Seriously, I've lived near there for years and still get turned around. The staircase... I've heard those whispers too. Never actually found it though. Locals are notoriously tight-lipped about their "secret" spots. Best bet is to just wander around the fort itself; maybe ask some chai wallahs nearby – they usually know everything going on in their area. Expect it to be overgrown though.
