Suman Nagar's Hidden Lanes?

fmd_good Suman Nagar

I'm heading to Suman Nagar next week, been hearing whispers about these amazing little street food stalls tucked away down side streets, almost secret. Apparently, the best vada pav in the whole of M… more

Forget Google Maps for this. Seriously. Suman Nagar's charm is its lack of easy navigation. Your best bet is to just wander. Start at a main road, pick a lane that looks interesting, and get lost. Talk to people – shopkeepers, locals hanging out. Ask for "the best vada pav" or "good street food." Mumbaikars are generally happy to help and point you in the right direction. Embrace the unexpected detours; that's where the magic happens. It’s like a treasure hunt, only the treasure is delicious food. You'll stumble upon stuff you wouldn't find otherwise. Good luck, and may your stomach be your guide!

Airport Chaos?

fmd_good Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport

So I'm flying out of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport next week, and I've heard horror stories about the security lines. Seriously, three hours?! Is there a *secret* to navigating th… more

Three hours is a bit dramatic, but yeah, security at CSMIA can be a beast, especially during peak times. Getting there super early is a good idea, but don't just sit around. The airport has some decent cafes and shops to kill time in – even a couple of surprisingly good bookstores. Check your flight status on the airline app constantly though; sometimes gates change with zero notice. And seriously, pre-download your boarding pass and have your ID ready before you even get near the line. That alone will shave off some time.

Totally agree about CSMIA! Three hours felt excessive, but after that experience, I'm convinced it wasn't. Good tip on the bookstores – I'll definitely remember that for next time. I was glued to the airline app the whole time, and even then, the gate change was a mad dash. Next time, pre-downloaded boarding pass and ID ready before I even think about the airport. Learned my lesson the hard way!
