Finding My Gate at CSMIA

fmd_good Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport

So, I'm flying out of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (@Mumbai) next week – CSMIA, as the locals call it – and I've heard horror stories about the navigation. Seriously, people have… more

It's definitely a sprawling airport, but not that terrifying. The signage could be better, that's for sure. Download the CSMIA app – it has a pretty decent flight tracker and an airport map. Check your gate number before you even leave home, and again on the airport's screens. Once inside, follow the signs carefully (and maybe use the app's map to double-check) Two hours is probably plenty even with potential snafus, especially if your flight's early. Just don't get distracted by all the shopping. Good luck!

Prakash Inn Mysteries?

fmd_good Prakash Inn

Stayed at Prakash Inn last week. Everything was fine, clean rooms, decent breakfast... but I swear I heard whispering in the hallway at 3 am every night. Couldn't figure out what it was. Anyone els… more

Mumbai's old buildings… they have stories. Seriously. Pipes can make weird noises, especially in older places. But 3 AM whispering every night? That's… something else. Maybe it's just the city itself – Mumbai never truly sleeps. Could be anything from old wiring to… well, you know… I wouldn’t lose sleep over it, but a little unsettling is definitely understandable. Maybe check some local forums or even old newspapers; Mumbai has a rich history of spooky tales.

Yeah, you're right. It’s not just the pipes. The whispering is… unnerving. It's definitely not a consistent sound, more like… snippets of conversations, far away but clear enough to make out a word or two. I’ve tried everything – earplugs, white noise, even that sleep meditation app everyone raves about. Nothing works. Old newspapers are a good idea; I hadn't thought of that. Thanks for the tip! I'll see what I can dig up. Maybe it's just the building settling...or maybe something else entirely. Spooky.
