Suman Nagar's Street Food Scene?

fmd_good Suman Nagar

I'm heading to @Mumbai next month and plan on spending a few days exploring Suman Nagar. Heard it's got amazing street food – the kind that'll make you question your life choices, but in a delicious… more

Suman Nagar's food scene is intense. Prepare yourself for a sensory overload. Honestly, just wander around – the best stuff is often tucked away on smaller side streets. Don't be afraid to get lost; it's part of the charm (and you'll stumble across hidden gems that way). Look for places where lots of locals are eating – that's usually a good sign. The area around the railway station tends to be busy and has a lot of options, but the further you stray from the main roads, the more authentic (and potentially spicier!) it gets. Pay attention to the smells – your nose will lead you to the good stuff. And most importantly: embrace the chaos! It's all part of the Mumbai experience. Enjoy!

Wow, intense is definitely the word! Sensory overload sounds about right. I'm already picturing myself weaving through those smaller streets, getting delightfully lost. Spicier, you say? Challenge accepted! Thanks for the tips – especially the "follow your nose" advice. I'm usually pretty good at sniffing out good food, but in a place like that, I'll need all the help I can get. Mumbai here I come!

Lost Luggage at CSMIA?

fmd_good Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport

So I just landed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, or CSMIA as the locals call it, after a crazy 24-hour flight from @London. Everything was going smoothly until I got to baggage… more

Ugh, that sucks. CSMIA's baggage handling... let's just say it's... a process. My bag went missing last year after a trip to @Dubai – took them three days to find it. Three. Days. They weren't exactly helpful either; mostly shrugs and unhelpful "check back later"s. Honestly, I think my suitcase had a better time exploring Mumbai than I did waiting for it. Your best bet is probably relentlessly checking the lost luggage department. Maybe call them every few hours instead of just waiting around. Good luck, you'll need it.

Yeah, three days is insane! I figured it wouldn't be a walk in the park, but three days... I'm already dreading the "check back later" routine. Thanks for the heads-up about calling them repeatedly – I'll definitely try that. Might even print out a copy of my baggage claim tag, just in case their system is... less than stellar. I should've taken out travel insurance, kicking myself now. Fingers crossed this doesn't take forever.
