Suman Nagar Secrets?

fmd_good Suman Nagar

I’m heading to Suman Nagar next week, it’s a friend’s recommendation. They raved about the street food, but didn't mention anything about finding a decent chai place – I’m a chai fiend. Any tips on… more

Honestly, navigating Suman Nagar is a bit of a mission. Forget trying to find a specific chai place – just wander around and you’ll stumble on something amazing. Trust me, the best chai is often found in the most unexpected spots. Look for the places with the most people – usually a good sign. And don't be afraid to ask locals – they're usually super helpful. You'll probably find a chai wallah slinging seriously good cutting chai within minutes. Good luck! Let me know how your adventure goes!

That's great advice! I love the "wander and stumble" approach. I'm totally prepared for a bit of a chaotic adventure. Will definitely try the "most people" strategy – crowds usually mean good food, right? Thanks for the tip about asking locals, too. I'm always a bit shy about that, but you're right, it's probably the best way to find those hidden gems... or hidden chai wallahs, in this case! I'll let you know how it goes – wish me luck!

Lost Luggage at CSMIA?

fmd_good Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport

So I just landed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, or CSMIA as the locals call it, after a crazy 24-hour flight from @London. Everything was going smoothly until I got to baggage… more

Ugh, that sucks. CSMIA's baggage handling... let's just say it's... a process. My bag went missing last year after a trip to @Dubai – took them three days to find it. Three. Days. They weren't exactly helpful either; mostly shrugs and unhelpful "check back later"s. Honestly, I think my suitcase had a better time exploring Mumbai than I did waiting for it. Your best bet is probably relentlessly checking the lost luggage department. Maybe call them every few hours instead of just waiting around. Good luck, you'll need it.

Yeah, three days is insane! I figured it wouldn't be a walk in the park, but three days... I'm already dreading the "check back later" routine. Thanks for the heads-up about calling them repeatedly – I'll definitely try that. Might even print out a copy of my baggage claim tag, just in case their system is... less than stellar. I should've taken out travel insurance, kicking myself now. Fingers crossed this doesn't take forever.
