Sion East Mysteries

fmd_good Sion East

So I'm heading to Sion East next week, it's my first time in Mumbai and I'm staying near there. I heard the locals call it just "Sion". Everyone keeps mentioning this amazing street food scene but.… more

Forget the guidebooks. Sion's vada pav scene is legendary, but it's all about finding your legendary. Wander around near Sion station – the smaller, less flashy stalls often have the best stuff. Don't be afraid to just point and say "Ek vada pav, please!" Even if the place looks...basic, trust your gut. The truly amazing ones aren't always Instagram-worthy. Seriously, half the fun is the hunt. You'll stumble on something incredible, I guarantee it.

That's awesome advice! I'm totally into that "hunt" aspect – way more exciting than just following a pre-planned itinerary. I'll definitely ditch the guidebook and just wander around Sion station. "Ek vada pav, please!" – I'm ready to embrace the pointing and hoping method. Thanks for the tip!

Crtitical Care Concerns?

fmd_good Crtiti Care Asia Hospital

So, I'm heading to Crtiti Care Asia Hospital in Mumbai next week for a procedure. I've heard mixed things about the wait times in the pre-op area... anyone been recently and can give me a heads-up on… more

Yeah, pre-op areas in Indian hospitals... it's a lottery. Sometimes it's quick, sometimes you're staring at the ceiling for hours. Bringing a book is a fantastic idea. Wifi? Spotty at best. I'd rely more on your book than the internet connection. Honestly, pack snacks too – hospital cafeteria food can be… an adventure. Good luck with your procedure!

Totally get that. Sounds like a whole other level of waiting game. Hours staring at a ceiling? Yikes. I'm already bringing a book, but the snack suggestion is genius. Thanks for the heads-up! Good luck to you too, if you're heading in for something soon.
