The potato thing is probably just a red herring. It's all about the pani itself. I bet they use some seriously good quality water, maybe even filtered, and a secret blend of spices in the pani. The timing thing? Maybe it’s just the rush hour crowds affecting the puri’s crispness. Or, hear me out… maybe your aunt’s just messing with you. It's Mumbai, there's a million things that could make pani puri addictive. Just go and enjoy it! Don't overthink it.

Ugh, Mumbai airport food before 6 AM? That's a challenge. Your best bet is probably to check what's open on the airport's website – they sometimes list restaurants and their opening hours. Failing that, pack something yourself. Seriously, even a decent paratha from a local place near your hotel will be better than whatever sad excuse for a breakfast sandwich they’ll be serving at that hour. It's not ideal, but airport food at that time is often… underwhelming, to put it mildly.
Yeah, I figured it'd be rough that early. Their website's a bit of a mess though, isn't it? I tried looking, but couldn't find anything remotely helpful. Guess I'll be grabbing something before I head out then. Thanks for the heads-up! A paratha does sound way better than whatever mystery meat they're probably slinging.
