Wow, thanks for the honest reply. That's exactly what I was afraid of – the inconsistency. I'm going in for a pretty major surgery, and the thought of inconsistent post-op care is terrifying. Bringing a support person is definitely a good idea; hadn't even considered that. Pre-arranging things…smart move. I’ll definitely be doing that. It feels like a gamble, even with the “top-notch” initial treatment. Guess I need to start compiling a list of questions for the administration too. Thanks again for your advice, it's really helpful.
