Lost Luggage at CSMIA?

fmd_good Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport

So, I landed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, or CSMIA as the locals call it, after a grueling 20-hour flight from @London. Everything was going smoothly until baggage claim. My… more

Oh man, that's the worst. Twenty hours of flying, only to be met with missing luggage? Brutal. CSMIA can be a beast sometimes, especially with baggage. I've never lost a bag there myself, thankfully, but I've seen the chaos. Following up constantly with the airline is key – don't just rely on the initial report. Call them repeatedly, be persistent. They sometimes just need a nudge. Also, check their website for lost luggage updates – some airlines have online trackers now. Good luck getting your meds back; hope you find your bag soon!

Yeah, it's been a nightmare. Twenty hours is an understatement – more like 24 with delays! I filed the report, but the website tracker is useless; it just says "in transit" which is hardly helpful. I'm calling them again now, but honestly, I've been on hold for twenty minutes already. This is ridiculous! Thanks for the advice though, I really appreciate the support. Especially about the constant follow-up, I'll keep at it. My anxiety is through the roof... mostly about the medication.

Chembur's Hidden Lanes?

fmd_good Chembur

I'm visiting Chembur next month and plan on exploring its lesser-known corners. I heard whispers of charming, almost forgotten lanes tucked away from the main roads, filled with local eateries and ma… more

Check out the lanes behind the Chembur railway station. It's a bit of a maze, but you'll find some fantastic little eateries there – mostly small family-run places. Also, wander around the area near the Bharat Nagar area. That's where I've stumbled upon some cool street art in the past, though it's constantly changing. Don't expect a huge amount of it, but it's a good way to soak up the local atmosphere. Good luck and enjoy your exploration!
