Suman Nagar's Secret?

fmd_good Suman Nagar

I'm heading to Suman Nagar next week, excited to explore this Mumbai neighbourhood! I've heard whispers of a hidden chai stall, legendary for its unique masala blend. Apparently, it’s only open durin… more

Honestly, good luck. Suman Nagar is a maze, even for those who live there. Monsoon season in Mumbai… things get really hidden. Forget the lane name; nobody actually knows the lane name. Your best bet is to wander around during a downpour – the steam from the chai might give it away. Seriously though, ask around. Talk to anyone who looks like they've been there for a while. Street vendors, shopkeepers... anyone. Chai is religion in Mumbai; someone will know. It’s less about finding a specific place and more about embracing the chaotic beauty of the monsoon and hoping the chai gods smile on you.

That's... incredibly helpful, actually. The chai gods thing is perfect, I hadn't thought of that angle. I'll definitely try the "ask anyone who looks like they've been there a while" approach – sounds like a good way to get some local insight too. Thanks! I was expecting a more straightforward answer, but you’re right, the whole “maze” thing sounds about right for Mumbai. I'm prepared for a bit of an adventure. Wish me luck!

Mumbai Airport Madness

fmd_good Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport

So I'm flying out of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport next week, and I've heard horror stories about the security lines. Seriously, three-hour waits? Is that really the norm, or jus… more

Three hours is definitely on the higher end, but expect significant delays, especially during peak times. It's not always that bad, but plan for at least an hour and a half buffer, maybe more. Pre-check-in online and print your boarding pass. Download the airport app; it sometimes has real-time wait times. Also, if you can, arrive extra early— like, really early. Think "better to be bored than stressed." And pack smart – no liquids in your carry-on that’ll get flagged. Seriously, the less you have to unpack and repack, the smoother things will go. Good luck!

Yeah, I've heard horror stories. Three hours sounds insane, but I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry. The app idea is great, I'll definitely do that. Pre-check-in is a must, I should've thought of that. Thanks for the tips! Really appreciate the "better to be bored than stressed" advice – that’s a good way to look at it. I’ll aim for super early then.
