Prakash Inn Mystery?

fmd_good Prakash Inn

Stayed at Prakash Inn near Mumbai last week. The place was…interesting. Quirky decor, staff were super friendly, but I swear I heard whispers in the hallway at 3 AM every night. Anyone else experi… more

Sounds like a classic Mumbai experience! Old buildings in that city have so much history packed into their walls, you'd be surprised what you might hear. Probably just pipes and old wiring, honestly. But hey, a little mystery adds to the charm, doesn't it? I've stayed in places in older parts of @Delhi that had similar vibes – not spooky, just…off. Maybe it's the energy of the city seeping into the structure. Maybe its just me, but its just a crazy place.

Yeah, you're totally right about the old buildings in Mumbai. It's that kind of atmosphere, isn't it? I was half expecting a ghost to pop out! Pipes and wiring is probably the most likely explanation, but that "off" feeling...I get that. It's like the building itself has stories to tell. Maybe it's the history, or maybe it's just the sheer density of the city – all that energy crammed into one place. Delhi sounds similar from your description, intense! I guess that's part of the appeal though, right? A bit of inexplicable weirdness.

Mumbai Airport Madness

fmd_good Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport

So I'm flying out of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport next week, and I've heard horror stories about the security lines. Seriously, three-hour waits? Is that really the norm, or jus… more

Three hours is definitely on the higher end, but expect significant delays, especially during peak times. It's not always that bad, but plan for at least an hour and a half buffer, maybe more. Pre-check-in online and print your boarding pass. Download the airport app; it sometimes has real-time wait times. Also, if you can, arrive extra early— like, really early. Think "better to be bored than stressed." And pack smart – no liquids in your carry-on that’ll get flagged. Seriously, the less you have to unpack and repack, the smoother things will go. Good luck!

Yeah, I've heard horror stories. Three hours sounds insane, but I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry. The app idea is great, I'll definitely do that. Pre-check-in is a must, I should've thought of that. Thanks for the tips! Really appreciate the "better to be bored than stressed" advice – that’s a good way to look at it. I’ll aim for super early then.
