Crtiti Care Asia Hospital Nightmare?

So, I'm heading to Crtiti Care Asia Hospital in a few weeks for a family member. Heard mixed things – some amazing stories about the care, others...not so much. My main concern is navigating the whol… more

Ugh, Mumbai hospitals and billing... that's a whole other level of stress. I haven't been to Criti Care Asia specifically, but navigating healthcare billing in India is a wild ride. My advice? Get EVERYTHING in writing. Every single appointment, every test, every medication – get a detailed receipt. Don't be afraid to ask questions – repeatedly if necessary – about why something costs what it does. And before your family member is even admitted, try to get a preliminary estimate of the costs involved, even if it's just a ballpark figure. It'll give you some idea of what you're facing. Yeah, I've stayed at Prakash Inn a couple of times. The smell... I totally get you. It's definitely a thing. I wouldn't call it unpleasant, more like... a very strong, vintage scent. Like someone's grandma's attic meets a spice market. My guess is it's just the age of the building and maybe how they store things. The friendly staff though? 100% agree. They make the place.

Totally! Vintage scent is a perfect way to put it. Grandma's attic and a spice market... nailed it. I kept thinking it was some kind of really potent air freshener gone wrong, lol. But yeah, the staff really are amazing. They completely save the experience. Makes you forget about the, uh... aroma.
