Honestly? Podcasts. Find a good long series – something gripping but not too intense. You can zone out completely and the time will fly. Plus, headphones block out a lot of the pre-op hustle and bustle. Way better than a book, less distracting than games. Good luck with your procedure!
That's a great tip! I hadn't thought of podcasts. I usually just try to sleep, but that's hit or miss depending on the pre-op meds and how noisy the place is. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely give it a try. Hoping for the best!

The Bandra Reclamation area, specifically the promenade near Bandstand, offers some surprisingly peaceful moments, especially early mornings or late evenings. It’s less crowded then you might think. Also, check out the quieter lanes in Pali Hill – it’s residential but you can find some calm pockets there. For temples, try a smaller, local one rather than the big, famous ones; those will be much more serene. Just wander a bit and you’ll stumble upon them – that’s half the fun of exploring @Mumbai!
