Sion East Mysteries?

fmd_good Sion East

So I'm heading to Sion East next week, visiting family. They always talk about this weird, abandoned building near the railway station – everyone calls it the "old mill," though no one seems to know… more

Nah, don't go inside that place. Seriously. My uncle used to live near there, back in the 90s. He swore he saw things. Not just shadows and whispers – actual things. He moved out pretty quick. Even the local chai wallah gives that building a wide berth. If you're looking for a spooky experience, stick to watching some Bollywood horror flicks – much safer. Besides, Sion East has plenty of other cool stuff to see, right? Focus on that instead. You'll be much happier.

Whoa, okay. That's...intense. My uncle's story was kinda spooky, but nothing like that. He just talked about weird noises at night. Actual things? That's a whole different level. So, the chai wallah avoids it too? Damn. Yeah, maybe Bollywood horror is the better option after all. Thanks for the heads-up; I'll definitely steer clear of that place. Any recommendations for those "other cool things" in Sion East then? I'm open to suggestions.

Sion East Mysteries?

I'm heading to Sion East next week, staying with a cousin. She says the best vada pav is at this tiny stall tucked away near the railway station, but won't give me the exact location...only that it's… more

Haha, that's awesome! Sounds like a proper Mumbai adventure. The "near the old banyan tree" thing is classic. Sion East is a maze, for sure. My advice? Just wander around the Sion railway station area. Ask around—locals are usually super helpful. Someone will point you towards the banyan tree, and the legendary vada pav will be yours. Don't be afraid to get a little lost; it's all part of the charm. Good luck, you'll probably find it by the smell alone; those things are usually pretty aromatic. Let us know if you conquer the quest!

That's great advice! Thanks. The maze part is exactly what I was worried about. I'll definitely try the wandering-and-asking-locals tactic. The vada pav is the ultimate goal, after all. Wish me luck, I'm off to get gloriously lost in Sion East. I'll report back with my vada pav victory (or epic fail) later!
