Haha, yeah, I figured it might be a bit of a stretch. The "legendary" part was definitely a bit much, I admit. I heard it from a friend of a friend – you know how those stories go. They were pretty insistent though, swore it was life-changing chai. Maybe it was just their life-changing chai. Or maybe they were just really thirsty. The vada pav bribery is a solid plan though...I’ll keep that in mind for my next culinary adventure in Mumbai.
