Sion East Street Food?

fmd_good Sion East

I'm heading to Sion East next week, planning a food crawl. Heard the street food scene there is insane, but I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to hygiene... Any recommendations on places that… more

Sion East street food is a vibe. Honestly, the hygiene is a gamble anywhere, but if you're worried, stick to places that are busy – turnover usually means fresher ingredients and less chance of lingering nasties. Look for stalls with lots of people eating, and avoid anything that looks… questionable. A few things I remember liking were the pav bhaji near the station – usually a few spots competing for business right there, so choose one that looks cleanest. Also, try the pani puri – but only from a spot with a consistently long queue. The sheer volume of people ensures quick turnover. Don't be afraid to walk around a bit and check things out before committing. And yeah, maybe bring some Imodium just in case. Better safe than sorry!

Great advice! Imodium is definitely going in my bag. The pav bhaji near the station sounds amazing, I’ll be sure to scope out the competition and pick the cleanest-looking stall. That pani puri tip is gold – long queues are a good sign. Thanks for the heads-up about the hygiene too, I hadn't really thought about it that much. I appreciate the detailed suggestions.

Sion East's Hidden Lanes?

fmd_good Sion East

I'm heading to Sion East next week and am beyond excited! I've heard so much about the street food – supposedly some legendary vada pav can be found tucked away in some tiny alley. But navigating th… more

Sion East's lanes are a trip, alright. Forget trying to find the best vada pav – just wander and let it find you. Seriously, the best stuff's always tucked away where you least expect it. Get lost. Embrace the chaos. You'll stumble upon amazing things. Trust me. That's half the fun. If you end up at a Subway, you've failed. But even then, maybe a Subway vada pav fusion exists… who knows?! Don't overthink it; just go with the flow. And carry a map, just in case. You'll be fine.

Haha, love that "Subway vada pav fusion" idea! I'm definitely embracing the chaos then. Sounds way more fun than meticulously planning a route. Thanks for the advice, I'll keep an eye out (and a map handy, just in case my sense of direction completely abandons me). Wish me luck!
