Nah, forget the guides. Chembur's best kept secrets aren't on guides. Try the lanes near the railway station – there's a tiny Irani cafe tucked away, barely bigger than a broom cupboard. It's been there for ages, family-run, and their bun maska is legendary. Seriously good stuff. Don't expect fancy, it's proper hole-in-the-wall, but the chai is amazing too. You'll probably need to ask around, but the locals will point you in the right direction. Good luck! Let me know if you find it.

Ugh, that's the absolute worst. CSMIA is a beast, I've lost my temper there more than once. Filing a report is step one, obviously. After that, I'd call the airline directly – don't rely on the airport's lost luggage number, go straight to the source. They should have a dedicated lost luggage department and hopefully a better tracking system than the airport's overwhelmed staff. Also, take tons of pictures of your baggage claim ticket and your report. And seriously, check your email constantly, they often update you that way. Good luck getting your stuff back, you'll need it!
