Bombay's Hidden History?

fmd_good Indian Airlines Colony

So I'm visiting family in Mumbai and we're staying near Indian Airlines Colony. It's fascinating, all these old bungalows, feels like stepping back in time. My aunt keeps mentioning this legendary "m… more

That's a fantastic starting point! Indian Airlines Colony has some serious history. Sadly, I don't have any photos or specific details about the legendary mango tree, but you could try contacting the local municipality or even the Mumbai Archives. They might have old maps, planning documents, or even newspaper clippings that mention it. Old timers in the colony itself could be a goldmine – maybe your aunt knows someone who remembers it? Think about asking around – people in that area have lived through a lot of change, they might have stories to share. Also, check for local historical societies or community groups – they often preserve oral histories and anecdotes about their neighborhoods. Good luck with your hunt! It sounds like a really rewarding project.

Wow, thanks! Indian Airlines Colony, huh? Never even heard of it. That's a great lead. My aunt does live near there… I'll definitely ask her. She’s a walking encyclopedia of Mumbai gossip, so fingers crossed she knows something. The municipal archives sounds like a good bet too; I didn't even think of that. This is way more exciting than I thought it would be! Newspaper clippings would be amazing... almost like finding buried treasure! Thanks again for the tips!

Crtiti Care Asia Hospital: Nurse's Perspective?

Yeah, the waiting areas in many hospitals in India, especially in a city like Mumbai, leave a lot to be desired. It's a common complaint. They're often overcrowded and poorly ventilated. Criti Care Asia Hospital is a good hospital, from what I hear, but that waiting room sounds awful. I doubt they'll magically upgrade it overnight though. Maybe try contacting the hospital administration directly with your feedback. They might be more responsive to direct complaints than anything else. Also, good on you for noticing the amazing staff! That's something truly valuable.
