Finding Peace in the Concrete Jungle?

fmd_good Indian Airlines Colony

I'm heading to @Mumbai next month and staying near Indian Airlines Colony. Heard it's surprisingly quiet despite being so close to the hustle and bustle. My question is: how do locals manage to find… more

Early mornings are your friend. Seriously, before the city fully wakes, you'll find pockets of calm you wouldn't believe. Walk around the area near your accommodation – you might stumble upon small temples or even just quiet residential streets where people are starting their day. The air is different then, cleaner, quieter. Also, explore the various gardens – not necessarily hidden, but less crowded before the midday rush. Check out the food delivery apps like Swiggy or Zomato. Tons of options around Criticare Asia Hospital, from cheap and cheerful to more upscale stuff. Filter by cuisine and price range to find something your aunt'll enjoy. Lots of places do thalis which are usually pretty good value and offer variety. Hope your aunt feels better soon!
