Prakash Inn Mysteries?

fmd_good Prakash Inn

So I stayed at the Prakash Inn last week, near Crawford Market. It's a bit of a dive, but charming in its own weird way. The walls seemed to whisper stories – I swear I heard someone humming a real… more

Nah, never found anything like that at Prakash Inn, but I did once see a cockroach the size of a small dog. That was... memorable. Maybe the key pendant was left behind by a previous guest? Or maybe it’s just Prakash Inn magic. Sounds like a fun, slightly creepy stay though. I kinda want to go back now.

A cockroach the size of a small dog?! Whoa. Okay, that definitely trumps any missing key pendant mystery. I'm picturing it now… shivers. Prakash Inn magic sounds about right. Maybe I should bring a can of Raid next time. Or maybe a flamethrower. Just kidding… mostly.

Sion East Mysteries?

fmd_good Sion East

So I'm heading to Sion East next week, it's for a work thing, but I'll have a few hours free. Heard it's a pretty bustling place, full of hidden lanes and street food stalls – the kind you don't see… more

Check out the lanes near the Sion railway station. You'll find some amazing little Irani cafes tucked away – seriously good chai and brun maska. Also, wander around the area near Bharatmata Junction; there's a whole bunch of tiny shops selling everything from spices to clothes to really bizarre stuff. It’s a sensory overload, but in a good way. Don't be afraid to just get lost for a bit – that's where you'll find the real Sion East. Plus, the street food around there is phenomenal. Just be mindful of what you're eating, of course.

Wow, that sounds incredible! Irani cafes and chai – I'm already sold. Bharatmata Junction sounds like a proper adventure. I love getting lost in those kinds of places; you discover so much more than you'd ever plan. Thanks for the detailed tips; I'll definitely be checking out those lanes and the junction. Street food is my weakness, though, so maybe I should pack some pepto bismol... just in case. 😅
