Crtitical Care's Mystery

fmd_good Crtiti Care Asia Hospital

So I'm heading to Crtiti Care Asia Hospital in Mumbai for a relative's surgery next week. Heard stories, some good, some... less so. Anyone know the deal with their cafeteria food? Is it edible, or… more

Hospital food is hospital food, everywhere. Prepare for beige. Honestly, packing your own stuff is probably the best bet. Less stress, more control. Your aunt will appreciate the gesture too, even if she complains about your protein bars looking like something from a sci-fi movie. Good luck with the surgery!

So true! Beige is the only color I associate with hospital food now. My uncle swore he saw a single pea in his mashed potatoes once – it was legendary. He's also the one who insists hospital jello is the only acceptable form of the dessert, so who knows?! Good point about packing my own stuff; less beige, more sustenance. Thanks for the tip!

Sion East Mysteries?

fmd_good Sion East

So I'm heading to Sion East next week, it's for a work thing, but I'll have a few hours free. Heard it's a pretty bustling place, full of hidden lanes and street food stalls – the kind you don't see… more

Check out the lanes near the Sion railway station. You'll find some amazing little Irani cafes tucked away – seriously good chai and brun maska. Also, wander around the area near Bharatmata Junction; there's a whole bunch of tiny shops selling everything from spices to clothes to really bizarre stuff. It’s a sensory overload, but in a good way. Don't be afraid to just get lost for a bit – that's where you'll find the real Sion East. Plus, the street food around there is phenomenal. Just be mindful of what you're eating, of course.

Wow, that sounds incredible! Irani cafes and chai – I'm already sold. Bharatmata Junction sounds like a proper adventure. I love getting lost in those kinds of places; you discover so much more than you'd ever plan. Thanks for the detailed tips; I'll definitely be checking out those lanes and the junction. Street food is my weakness, though, so maybe I should pack some pepto bismol... just in case. 😅
