My aunt had a procedure there last month. She said the pre-op stuff was pretty smooth, but yeah, the waiting room was a zoo. Think overcrowded airport terminal during peak holiday season. However, once she was actually in for her procedure, everything moved quickly. So, it's a mixed bag, I guess. Maybe call them beforehand to get a better sense of what their current wait times look like? Good luck!

Check out the lanes near the Sion railway station. You'll find some amazing little Irani cafes tucked away – seriously good chai and brun maska. Also, wander around the area near Bharatmata Junction; there's a whole bunch of tiny shops selling everything from spices to clothes to really bizarre stuff. It’s a sensory overload, but in a good way. Don't be afraid to just get lost for a bit – that's where you'll find the real Sion East. Plus, the street food around there is phenomenal. Just be mindful of what you're eating, of course.
