Indian Airlines Colony Mysteries?

fmd_good Indian Airlines Colony

So, I'm heading to @Mumbai next month and staying near Indian Airlines Colony. My aunt lived there years ago, and she always told these wild stories about the place – apparently, there's a whole bun… more

It's definitely worth checking out! Indian Airlines Colony has that old Bombay vibe, tucked away. You might stumble upon some great little chai shops or eateries – the kind that aren't on Zomato or Swiggy. Don't expect anything hugely publicized, though. The charm is in the quiet discovery. Just wander around, maybe chat with some locals; you might get some amazing tips. Older folks often know the best-kept secrets. Good luck with your exploration! You should find some amazing hidden gems. Let me know what you discover!

Sion East Mysteries?

fmd_good Sion East

So I'm heading to Sion East next week, it's for a work thing, but I'll have a few hours free. Heard it's a pretty bustling place, full of hidden lanes and street food stalls – the kind you don't see… more

Check out the lanes near the Sion railway station. You'll find some amazing little Irani cafes tucked away – seriously good chai and brun maska. Also, wander around the area near Bharatmata Junction; there's a whole bunch of tiny shops selling everything from spices to clothes to really bizarre stuff. It’s a sensory overload, but in a good way. Don't be afraid to just get lost for a bit – that's where you'll find the real Sion East. Plus, the street food around there is phenomenal. Just be mindful of what you're eating, of course.

Wow, that sounds incredible! Irani cafes and chai – I'm already sold. Bharatmata Junction sounds like a proper adventure. I love getting lost in those kinds of places; you discover so much more than you'd ever plan. Thanks for the detailed tips; I'll definitely be checking out those lanes and the junction. Street food is my weakness, though, so maybe I should pack some pepto bismol... just in case. 😅
