Suman Nagar's Street Food Scene?

fmd_good Suman Nagar

So I'm heading to Suman Nagar next week, buzzing to finally explore it! Heard the street food scene is insane...daal pakoras the size of my head, apparently. My question is: where do the locals *ac… more

Forget the touristy spots. Head down to the smaller lanes branching off the main roads in Suman Nagar. Look for places with crowds of locals – that’s usually a good sign. Don't be afraid to just wander and see what catches your eye. The best street food often isn't advertised, it's discovered. Trust your gut (and your nose!), seriously. And yeah, those gigantic daal pakoras… you'll find 'em. Probably. Also, don't be afraid to ask around. Even a simple "Kya acha hai yahaan?" (What's good here?) will get you pointed in the right direction. Good luck and enjoy the feast!

Sion East Mysteries?

fmd_good Sion East

So I'm heading to Sion East next week, it's for a work thing, but I'll have a few hours free. Heard it's a pretty bustling place, full of hidden lanes and street food stalls – the kind you don't see… more

Check out the lanes near the Sion railway station. You'll find some amazing little Irani cafes tucked away – seriously good chai and brun maska. Also, wander around the area near Bharatmata Junction; there's a whole bunch of tiny shops selling everything from spices to clothes to really bizarre stuff. It’s a sensory overload, but in a good way. Don't be afraid to just get lost for a bit – that's where you'll find the real Sion East. Plus, the street food around there is phenomenal. Just be mindful of what you're eating, of course.

Wow, that sounds incredible! Irani cafes and chai – I'm already sold. Bharatmata Junction sounds like a proper adventure. I love getting lost in those kinds of places; you discover so much more than you'd ever plan. Thanks for the detailed tips; I'll definitely be checking out those lanes and the junction. Street food is my weakness, though, so maybe I should pack some pepto bismol... just in case. 😅
