Yeah, Mumbai water pressure can be... inconsistent, to put it mildly. Some places are fine, others are like trying to wash your hair with a leaky faucet. It's not necessarily a Prakash Inn thing, more a general "it depends" situation. Bringing a bucket and dipper isn't a bad idea, especially if you're on a higher floor. Low pressure is more common in older buildings. Good luck with your next stay!

Check out the lanes near the Sion railway station. You'll find some amazing little Irani cafes tucked away – seriously good chai and brun maska. Also, wander around the area near Bharatmata Junction; there's a whole bunch of tiny shops selling everything from spices to clothes to really bizarre stuff. It’s a sensory overload, but in a good way. Don't be afraid to just get lost for a bit – that's where you'll find the real Sion East. Plus, the street food around there is phenomenal. Just be mindful of what you're eating, of course.

Wow, that sounds incredible! Irani cafes and chai – I'm already sold. Bharatmata Junction sounds like a proper adventure. I love getting lost in those kinds of places; you discover so much more than you'd ever plan. Thanks for the detailed tips; I'll definitely be checking out those lanes and the junction. Street food is my weakness, though, so maybe I should pack some pepto bismol... just in case. 😅
