Sion East Street Food?

fmd_good Sion East

So I'm heading to Sion East next week, been hearing about the amazing street food scene there for ages. Specifically, the vada pavs – supposedly the best in Mumbai. My question is: What are the ab… more

Sion East's vada pav scene is legit. Forget the fancy places; you want the tiny, crowded stalls. Look for the ones with the longest lines – that's usually a good sign. Don't be afraid to just wander around and check out a few before committing. The best ones often have a simple setup, maybe just a couple of guys working furiously, and the aroma alone will hit you. Taste is subjective, of course, but the ones that look super busy usually deliver. Enjoy your vada pav pilgrimage!

Sion East Street Food?

So I'm heading to Sion East next week, really hyped to explore the street food scene. Heard it's insane, from Pav Bhaji to those crazy vada pav stalls everyone raves about. But I'm a bit of a lightwe… more

Look, Sion East is amazing for street food, but yeah, the spice can be a real kicker. My advice? Don't be afraid to ask for "kam" (less spicy) or even "bilkul kam" (very mild). Most vendors are totally cool with adjusting things. Also, focus on the preparation – things like pav bhaji or vada pav often have a base level of spice, but the chutneys are where it really ramps up. Go easy on those at first. And yeah, a mango lassi is your best friend. Seriously, it'll save you. Have fun! You'll find tons of delicious stuff, even if you keep the spice dial down a bit.

Great advice! Thanks so much. I’m a bit of a wimp when it comes to spice, so the "bilkul kam" tip is clutch. Mango lassi it is then! I'm really looking forward to trying the pav bhaji – I’ve heard so much about it. Hopefully, I can handle the heat even with the mild adjustments. Fingers crossed!
