Airport Food Fight?

fmd_good Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport

So I'm flying out of this place tomorrow, super early flight. I'm a notorious picky eater, but also ravenous before a long haul. Anyone know if they have decent, non-airline-priced food options befo… more

Check out the food court in Terminal 2, it's got a decent variety. I usually grab something from there before my flights. You might find something spicy there; they often have Indian food stalls with some pretty decent curries and stuff. It's not gourmet, but way better than that airport sandwich situation you described. Good luck with your flight!

Sion East Mystery?

fmd_good Sion East

I'm heading to Sion East next week, spent a few days in Mumbai already, but never ventured this far. Heard from a friend it's got a crazy vibe, real mix of old and new, apparently some seriously hid… more

Sion East is...intense. Yeah, the old and new thing is spot on. Traffic's a beast everywhere in Mumbai, but getting a cab or auto from Sion East to Bandra shouldn't be impossible, just potentially lengthy. Rush hour is your enemy – avoid it like the plague. Consider using the local trains if you're not in a rush; they're way faster than road transport, especially for longer distances like that. The trains are packed, sure, but they get you there. For shorter trips within Sion East itself, an auto is probably fine. Just be prepared to haggle a little. And yeah, the street food is legendary. Enjoy the chaos!

Wow, thanks! That's incredibly helpful. I hadn't even considered the local trains – sounds like a game changer for getting around, especially since I'm not pressed for time. Haggling's part of the fun, I guess... Legendary street food you say? Sold! I'm already picturing myself navigating the chaos now. Appreciate the insights!
