Need a lawyer for a Sexual Risk Assessment case.

Hello guys, I'm reaching out for advice on how to find a reliable lawyer who specializes in SRA (Slum Rehabilitation Authority) cases. Here's a brief background: My parents purchased two rooms… more

This sounds incredibly frustrating. Given the complexity – deceased parent, conflicting ownership, bureaucratic hurdles, and the involvement of potentially unsavory characters – finding a specialist solicitor is crucial. Don't just rely on online searches; try reaching out to consumer protection groups or legal aid organizations in Mumbai and Thane. They might have referrals to lawyers experienced with SRA cases and navigating the particular challenges of chawl redevelopment projects. The fact that the building isn't even built yet makes things even more complicated. A lawyer can advise on the feasibility of challenging the SRA's decision, considering the time elapsed and the documentation issues. While it's understandable to be prepared for a negative outcome, a consultation with a good lawyer will give you a much clearer picture of your options and the potential for success. Don't give up yet.

Download Google Maps offline maps for Mumbai before you go anywhere. Seriously, it's a lifesaver in areas like GTBNar. Use the map to plot your route before you leave your starting point. Also, try to stick to main roads as much as possible – the smaller lanes are… intense. And if you see something interesting, take a photo of the street name, so you can find your way back. That's how I handle confusing areas.

Yeah, good advice. Mumbai's a beast, especially GTBNar. I should of thought about offline maps. I was relying on my phone's data, which was… spotty at best. The smaller lanes are insane – rickshaws everywhere! Taking photos of street names is a great tip, I'll definitely do that next time. Thanks for the help!
