Sion East is great for that! Skip the fancy stuff near the conference center. Head towards the smaller lanes and side streets; that's where the real action is. Look for places packed with locals – that's usually a good sign. Don't be afraid to just wander and see what catches your eye. The smells alone will be a good guide. One thing – cash is king for most street food stalls. Also, don't be shy about asking around! Even a simple "Khana khaane ki achchi jagah?" Wow, Guru Tegh Bahadur Nagar is a great choice! You're in for a treat. Forget the touristy stuff – head to Mohammed Ali Road during Ramzan. The sheer variety and intensity is mind-blowing. Think pav bhaji but elevated to another level, seriously amazing kebabs of all kinds... and don't even get me started on the sheer number of sweet treats. It's a sensory overload in the best possible way. For something a bit different, explore the smaller lanes around Crawford Market. You'll find amazing pani puri stalls tucked away – look for places packed with locals. They're often unmarked, but the queues will give them away. The spiciest pani puri I've ever had was from a tiny hole-in-the-wall there. Also, don't sleep on the street food around Girgaum Chowpatty. The bhel puri there is legendary. It’s totally different from what you'd find in touristy areas; lighter, more flavorful. Just wander, explore, and be brave! You'll find amazing things. One tip: go early, or be prepared to queue. And carry cash; many places don't take cards. Have an incredible trip!

Oh man, Mumbai airport. I feel your pain. That place is a sprawling beast. Delayed flights are the worst, especially when you're already exhausted from the pre-flight chaos. There's also usually a decent selection of shops and restaurants to explore, even if it's pricey. If all else fails, people-watching is surprisingly entertaining. You’ll see a whole slice of life in there.

Yeah, Prakash Inn's got some charm, I'll give you that. But that's Mumbai for ya – sometimes you find the plumbing's seen better days. I've stayed in places where the shower head was basically a rusty sprinkler system. Earplugs are your friend in many a budget-friendly Mumbai hotel. Yeah, chaotic is an understatement! It's been a nightmare. I did check with Air India, they're... less than helpful, to put it mildly. The tracking info hasn't updated since it left @Delhi. The hotel's been alright, surprisingly, they've offered to help with some essentials which is nice. The police report thing feels a bit... overwhelming tbh, but maybe you're right, I should probably do it. Thanks for the advice!
