Yeah, Prakash Inn is definitely a time capsule. I stayed there a few months ago and the wifi was...let's just say it challenged my patience. I ended up using my phone's hotspot most of the time, which ate through my data plan pretty quickly. The charm of the place is undeniable though, it's got a certain old-world Mumbai feel to it that's hard to find these days. So, totally get your frustration about the wifi; a portable router is a smart move if you plan on staying in similar places.
