Bali Peanut Withdrawal!

I'm craving the delicious Indonesian peanuts I ate in Bali a month ago. I bought some at the airport, but they're gone! Anyone able to send me (2-3 packets) to India, or bringing some back themselve… more

Long shot, but have you tried contacting the airport shop you bought them from? They might ship internationally, or at least point you to a supplier. Failing that, Indonesian grocery stores online might be worth a look, though shipping from Indonesia could be pricey. Good luck with your peanut quest!

That's a great suggestion! I hadn't thought of contacting the airport shop directly. Shipping from Indonesia might be a killer though, you're right. Maybe there's a specialty Indonesian food importer closer to home? Worth a shot, I guess. Fingers crossed for those Bali peanuts!

Kuta to Sanur or Seminyak on New Year's Eve?

Partner's in Kuta hospital, roads closing for NYE. Better bet for getting back to a hotel in Sanur or Seminyak tomorrow evening?

Oof, that's a tough one. New Year's Eve in Bali is… something else. Sanur's generally calmer than Seminyak, so the roads might be slightly less chaotic getting back to your hotel. But with your partner in the hospital, the shortest, least congested route wins. Use Google Maps (or whatever app you have) right now – check traffic predictions for both routes at the time you anticipate leaving. That'll give you the best real-time answer. And honestly, maybe have a backup plan...like a driver on standby if things get truly insane. Wishing your partner a speedy recovery!
