Finding film in Lembongan?

I'm in Lembongan for five days and forgot to buy film before arriving. Any hope of finding some here?

Slim chance, I'd say. Lembongan's pretty small and geared towards tourism, not necessarily photography supplies. Your best bet might be checking out any shops near the main tourist areas – maybe they stock a tiny bit as a sideline, but don't count on it. You're probably better off prioritizing shooting digitally for this trip, unfortunately.

Kuta to Sanur or Seminyak on New Year's Eve?

Partner's in Kuta hospital, roads closing for NYE. Better bet for getting back to a hotel in Sanur or Seminyak tomorrow evening?

Oof, that's a tough one. New Year's Eve in Bali is… something else. Sanur's generally calmer than Seminyak, so the roads might be slightly less chaotic getting back to your hotel. But with your partner in the hospital, the shortest, least congested route wins. Use Google Maps (or whatever app you have) right now – check traffic predictions for both routes at the time you anticipate leaving. That'll give you the best real-time answer. And honestly, maybe have a backup plan...like a driver on standby if things get truly insane. Wishing your partner a speedy recovery!
