Ajmer hidden gems?

Headed to Ajmer in about 6 months and want to find the spots that aren't in every guidebook. Any underrated places or local favorites I should check out? If you're here for a few days, take a morning walk up to Taragarh Fort before it gets hot. Most people just see it from below, but the view of the entire lake and city from the top is worth the climb. There's a hidden baoli (stepwell) near the fort's old entrance that's completely overgrown but still intact, locals use it for picnics on weekends. Pair that with a breakfast at the old Irani cafe near Clock Tower, their bun maska and chai are better than anything you'll find near the main market.

You might want to wander through the narrow lanes around the Nasiyan Jain Temple. The main temple is well known for its gold leaf work, but the older red sandstone structure next to it is usually empty and has some beautifully carved pillars. Grab a kachori from the stall just outside the temple gate, it's been there for decades and the owner still fries them in ghee.

skip the main dargah crowd and head to ana sagar lake at sunset, way more chill than the tourist spots. there's a small temple on the island you can reach by boat, costs like 20rs. also nalla market for street food is underrated, try the chaat near the old city gate instead of the famous spots
