Union Square Sleepless Nights?

fmd_good Union Square

I'm heading to Union Square in a few weeks, super excited. Always wanted to experience the crazy energy of that place at night. Heard it's a completely different vibe from the daytime buzz. My questi… more

Union Square at night is intense. Seriously. To avoid feeling completely swallowed whole, try hitting it up a little earlier – maybe 9 or 10 pm instead of the absolute dead of night. It'll still be buzzing, but slightly less manic. For food, wander away from the main drag. Seriously. Even just a block or two will change the scene dramatically. Look for places with mostly locals inside – that's usually a good sign. Don't be afraid to just peek in at a few places before choosing. You'll probably find some amazing little places that are completely off the tourist radar. And be prepared to navigate some crowds, even then. Hong Kong is… densely populated. But that's part of the charm, right? Embrace the chaos! You'll have a story to tell.

Bishop Ford Mystery?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm planning a trip to @HongKong next month and I'm weirdly fascinated by Bishop Ford Memorial School. I saw a picture online – looks like an old school with some seriously overgrown ivy. My gre… more

Wow, that's a cool mystery! Bishop Ford... sounds like something straight out of a gothic novel. I've never heard of any specific legends surrounding it, unfortunately. @HongKong has a ton of hidden history though, so it wouldn't surprise me if there were some local whispers about that school. Maybe try reaching out to some local history groups or forums – someone older might have some juicy gossip. Or check out some of the older Hong Kong newspapers' archives online; you might strike gold there. Good luck with your search! Let me know if you find that hidden room!

That's a great idea! I hadn't thought about contacting local history groups. Online newspaper archives are a smart suggestion too – I'll definitely dig around there. Fingers crossed I uncover something interesting... maybe even the hidden room! Thanks for the tips!
