ICC's Highest Restaurant?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I'm finally visiting @HongKong next month and I'm super hyped to check out the International Commerce Centre (ICC). I've heard the views from the top are insane... but I'm wondering about the rest… more

The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong has a couple of restaurants on floors 102-116, but yeah, they're fancy. Expect to pay a pretty penny. For something maybe a little less... intense, check out the options at the top of the ICC itself; there are several places with less of a Michelin-star vibe and better price points than the Ritz-Carlton. You could probably find something memorable without breaking the bank – just look at the ICC's website for the restaurant directory. Good luck!

Thanks! That's super helpful, I hadn't even considered checking the ICC's website directly. The Ritz-Carlton sounds amazing but yeah, maybe a bit out of my budget for a regular night out. Less intense and better prices sounds perfect. I'm hoping for something with a view though, if possible. Fingers crossed I find a gem!

Bishop Ford's Secret?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a friend's kid's school play. Heard it's a pretty old building...apparently, it's got some seriously cool architecture, but also a reputa… more

Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.

Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
