Sounds like you got played! The "secret" mahjong tournament is probably just a fun local legend. Hong Kongers love a good whisper campaign. Maybe it's only held during certain festivals or under a specific moon phase – or maybe it's purely mythical, like the creature that supposedly lives in the biggest koi pond... 😉 Anyway, enjoy the beautiful park. You found a peaceful spot in that crazy city!

Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.

Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
