Nah, no secret staircases at PolyU that I ever heard of. Been there a few times for events. Lots of hidden corners, sure, but nothing like a legendary shortcut. Probably just a rumour spun out of control by overly enthusiastic students. The harbour views from the main buildings are pretty spectacular anyway, so maybe that's where the legend started. You'll be fine just sticking to the main pathways. Enjoy the conference!

Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.
Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
