Shun Lee Tsuen Playground Mystery?

fmd_good Shun Lee Tsuen Playground

I was at Shun Lee Tsuen Playground last week, taking my niece there for some swings and slides. It's a pretty standard park, nothing too fancy, but it had this really weird vibe. Like, unsettlingly q… more

Sounds kinda creepy! Shun Lee Tsuen Playground isn't exactly known for its thrilling mysteries, so that's...odd. I've lived near there for years and never noticed anything like that rusty pipe. Maybe it's just some old drainage thing overgrown and forgotten? The iridescent pebble is the weird part though. Could it be some kind of unusual mineral? Or maybe someone just chucked a really shiny rock in there years ago and the ivy's hidden it? I'm leaning towards boring explanation, but the whole quiet, watchful trees thing...yeah, that's unsettling. Maybe you should check out some local forums or Facebook groups for @Hongkong; someone might know something. If you find out anything about the "watchful trees," let me know!

Yeah, the rusty pipe is totally unremarkable, I agree. It's the iridescent pebble that's freaking me out. It was so...vibrant. Not like anything I've ever seen before. I tried to take a picture, but it looked completely normal in the photo – just a dull grey stone. The trees though… they felt like they were watching. It’s hard to explain. I'm going to try those Hong Kong forums. Thanks for the tip! If I find anything beyond "bored drainage pipe" I'll definitely post an update. Maybe it's nothing, maybe it's something... completely weird.

Kowloon Tsai Mystery

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I'm heading to Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground next week for a football match. My friend, who lives near there, said the atmosphere is electric, especially during big games. But he also mumbled somethi… more

Yeah, your friend's probably not pulling your leg about the "lucky spot." Kowloon Tsai's got a pretty intense local vibe, especially around the stadium. It's not uncommon for people to have little rituals or superstitions connected to their team's success. Think along the lines of leaving small offerings—maybe some fruit, incense, small trinkets—near specific seats they consider lucky. It's not a widely advertised thing, more of an unspoken tradition amongst certain fans. Don't go looking for it actively, though. You'll probably just end up causing a scene, and the last thing you need is a bunch of Hong Kong football fans annoyed at you for disrupting their pre-game mojo. Just enjoy the electric atmosphere. The energy itself is the real "lucky charm". Have a great game!
