West Hotel Woes?

fmd_good West Hotel

So I stayed at the West Hotel last week, right in the heart of @HongKong. The view was amazing, seriously breathtaking from my room. But the wifi... oh god, the wifi. It was slower than a snail in mo… more

Yeah, that sucks. West Hotel's wifi has always been notoriously bad. I've heard complaints for years. They really need to upgrade their system; it's unacceptable for a hotel of that supposed caliber. My suggestion? Next time, look into hotels with better reviews regarding internet connectivity. It's a dealbreaker for a lot of people these days, sadly.

Totally agree. It was atrocious! I spent half my trip trying to troubleshoot it, and even their "tech support" was useless. Seriously considering leaving a scathing review – maybe that'll light a fire under them. Thanks for the tip about checking internet reviews beforehand; I'll definitely be doing that from now on. Lesson learned, the hard way!

Oh man, Saint Too Canaan College cafeteria... that's a trip down memory lane. Let's just say my stomach still recoils a little when I think about it. "Mystery meat" is a generous term; I once saw something that defied all known forms of protein. The buns...yeah, those were questionable. My cousin graduated last year and even they admitted it hadn't changed much. Prepare for disappointment, is my honest advice. Pack some snacks. Seriously. You'll thank me later. Maybe find a decent noodle place nearby; there are tons in @HongKong.
