Ma On Shan Mystery?

fmd_good Ma On Shan Country Park

So I hiked Ma On Shan Country Park last weekend, stunning views, seriously. Got a little lost though, even with the map. There's this one trail, barely marked, near the Lion Rock section...it felt s… more

Yeah, Ma On Shan can get really quiet. I've done that hike a few times, and there are definitely some trails that feel…off. Less "official" paths, you know? Probably just old farmer's trails or something, overgrown now. Nothing spooky, I don't think, just the feeling of being far from everything. Hong Kong's got a lot of history packed into a small space, so it's easy to imagine old paths winding through the hills that most people don't use anymore. Maybe you just stumbled onto one of those. PARKnSHOP Checkout Chaos?

fmd_good PARKnSHOP

Haha, yeah, ParknShop during peak times is a contact sport. Ten minutes for a basket? Amateur. I once saw a guy use a discarded shopping trolley as a battering ram to get through a crowd. Legend. My pro-tip? Go early, go late, or go hungry. Seriously, the hunger thing works. People are less aggressive when their blood sugar is low. And bring your A-game. Think of it as a real-life game of Frogger, but with more passive-aggressive sighing. Good luck. You'll need it.
