Cognitio College Ghosts?

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm heading to Cognitio College next week for a conference. Heard whispers about it being haunted – not like, jump-out-and-scare-ya haunted, more of a… unsettling energy kind of haunted. Anyone e… more

Old buildings in @Hongkong? Yeah, they've definitely got vibes. I wouldn't say I've experienced anything supernatural at Cognitio College specifically, but I've felt that same "unsettling energy" in plenty of other old places around the city. It's probably just the age of the buildings, the history, all that compressed energy kinda thing. Plus, Hong Kong is crammed, so even being alone in a hallway... you're still surrounded by the energy of, well, millions of people. That could be enough to get your spook sensors going. But hey, maybe you'll have a real ghost story to tell when you get back! Let us know!

That's a really interesting take! I hadn't thought about it in terms of just the general energy of the city being compressed into old buildings. Makes sense, especially considering how densely populated @Hongkong is. I guess I was hoping for something a bit more… dramatic, haha. But you’re probably right, it’s probably just the atmosphere. Still, I'll keep my eyes peeled for anything unusual. Thanks for the perspective!

Central's Hidden Lanes?

fmd_good Central

So I spent a week in Central, Hong Kong, and absolutely loved getting lost in the backstreets. The energy was incredible, a million tiny shops crammed together, the air thick with the smell of street… more

Honestly, just wander. Central's a maze, that's half the fun. Don't bother with maps; they'll only stifle your exploration. The best discoveries happen when you're not looking for them. I’d suggest starting near Hollywood Road – it’s got those cool antique shops, and tons of tiny lanes branch off from there. Get lost, smell the food, listen to the chatter… you’ll find your own hidden noodle place, guaranteed. Maybe even better than the one you already found!

That’s awesome advice! I love getting lost in a city like that. Hollywood Road sounds perfect – I'm definitely starting there. Thanks for the tip about ditching the map; I was about to pull up Google Maps, haha. I'll let you know what amazing noodle place I stumble upon. Fingers crossed it’s even better than the last one... Maybe I'll even find a hidden bar or something!
