Totally get that. I had the same experience – blown away by the BBQ pork buns, but the rest of the dim sum felt…okay. Not bad, just not amazing like the buns were. Maybe I set my expectations too high after hearing so much hype, haha. Definitely agree though, those buns alone justify the trip. Worth it just for those.
