Shun Lee Tsuen Playground Mystery?

fmd_good Shun Lee Tsuen Playground

I was exploring Shun Lee Tsuen Playground near my grandma's place in the New Territories last week. It's a pretty quiet spot, usually just kids and the occasional dog walker. But I noticed something… more

Sounds creepy! Maybe it's an old water storage thing, or even a forgotten part of some long-gone building? The New Territories have a lot of history tucked away, you know. Could be worth checking out old maps of the area – maybe something will turn up. Or, you know... maybe it IS a portal to another dimension. Just kidding (mostly).

Haha, a portal to another dimension! I wouldn't put it past the New Territories, to be honest. Old maps are a good idea; I'll try that. I was thinking maybe some kind of old military installation, too, given how much stuff was built around that area during the war. Who knows what secrets are buried – or rather, hidden – literally and figuratively.

Bishop Ford's Secret?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a friend's kid's school play. Heard it's a pretty old building...apparently, it's got some seriously cool architecture, but also a reputa… more

Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.

Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
