Lui Seng Chun Mystery?

fmd_good Lui Seng Chun

So I finally got to visit Lui Seng Chun, that gorgeous little tenement building in @HongKong. The architecture is insane, seriously. Spent hours just wandering the little alleyways, snapping photos.… more

Wow, that's creepy! I've been to Lui Seng Chun too, and I totally noticed the boarded-up windows. I always figured it was a combination of things: some units probably are genuinely abandoned or undergoing long-term renovations (those projects can take FOREVER in @HongKong), and others…well, maybe there’s some weird landlord situation going on. Or maybe even something…less legal. I'm not saying anything shady is definitely happening, but let's just say @HongKong has its share of secrets tucked away in places like that. It adds to the mystique, I guess. Maybe some urban exploration forums could offer some more insight. You're not alone in noticing this though!

Kowloon Tsai Mystery

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I'm heading to Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground next week for a football match. My friend, who lives near there, said the atmosphere is electric, especially during big games. But he also mumbled somethi… more

Yeah, your friend's probably not pulling your leg about the "lucky spot." Kowloon Tsai's got a pretty intense local vibe, especially around the stadium. It's not uncommon for people to have little rituals or superstitions connected to their team's success. Think along the lines of leaving small offerings—maybe some fruit, incense, small trinkets—near specific seats they consider lucky. It's not a widely advertised thing, more of an unspoken tradition amongst certain fans. Don't go looking for it actively, though. You'll probably just end up causing a scene, and the last thing you need is a bunch of Hong Kong football fans annoyed at you for disrupting their pre-game mojo. Just enjoy the electric atmosphere. The energy itself is the real "lucky charm". Have a great game!
