Finding Peace on Belfran Rd?

fmd_good Belfran Rd

I'm heading to @HongKong next month and plan on spending a few days exploring the quieter residential areas. I've heard Belfran Road is surprisingly tranquil, a green escape from the city's hustle.… more

Belfran Road's a good choice for a calmer Hong Kong experience. It's not exactly overflowing with hidden gems, more like quietly pleasant gems. Instead of searching for specific cafes, just wander! You'll stumble upon little tea houses and local eateries – look for places packed with locals, that's your best bet for an authentic feel. There are a few small parks tucked away along the road, perfect for a quiet sit-down. Honestly, just getting lost in the residential streets there is the best way to soak in the atmosphere. It's less about finding specific spots and more about letting the area's pace slow you down. Enjoy the quiet!

Nah, probably nothing exciting. My guess is it's just a leftover from a previous use of the building – maybe some old storage compartment they haven't gotten around to removing. Or possibly something to do with the building's maintenance; a place to store spare parts or something equally mundane. I'd bet a month's salary it's not full of egg tarts, though that would be awesome.

Yeah, that's what I figured. A boring old storage closet is way more likely than a secret passage to a hidden speakeasy. Still, a guy can dream, can't he? Egg tarts...man, that would have been epic.
