Finding a decent lunch near SYU

fmd_good Hong Kong Shue Yan University

So I'm heading to Hong Kong Shue Yan University next week for an academic conference. The schedule is brutal – back-to-back seminars. I'm worried about finding quick, tasty, and affordable lunch opt… more

Lots of cha chaan tengs around SYU. They're basically Hong Kong-style cafes, super common and usually pretty fast. You'll find tons serving up quick and cheap meals – think macaroni in soup, sandwiches, noodles. Probably your best bet for convenient, affordable eats during those short breaks. Shouldn't be hard to find one within a five-minute walk.

Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.

Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
