That's awesome, thanks! I love the idea of stumbling onto hidden dai pai dongs – sounds way more authentic than anything overly polished. I'll definitely check out those backstreets near the MTR. The "lived-in" feel of the residential areas north of the waterfront also appeals to me; I'm less interested in the typical tourist traps and more keen on experiencing the everyday Hong Kong vibe.
