Finding the best Noodles near HSU?

fmd_good Hong Kong Shue Yan University

So I'm heading to Hong Kong Shue Yan University next month for a conference. I've heard the campus is pretty cool, but honestly, what I'm *really* interested in is the local food scene. Specifically,… more

Forget "hidden gems," that's tourist-speak. Near HSU, you've got tons of amazing noodle places that aren't exactly secret, but also aren't plastered all over TripAdvisor. Check out the little stalls and shops around the university – there's usually a cluster of them near the MTR station. Look for places packed with locals, that’s your best bet. Don't be afraid to just point and say "this one!" if the menu’s all in Chinese; most places are happy to help you figure it out. Seriously, you'll find incredible wonton noodles, beef brisket noodles, everything. Just wander around a bit and let your nose lead you – you can't go wrong. Trust me, the best food experiences are often the unplanned ones.

Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.

Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
